This page provides a general description of how Dart is used by dental clinics. It is intended to support clinic privacy communications and should be read together with the privacy practices of the clinic you are dealing with. If you are a patient, the clinic you contacted is the first place to go for privacy questions and PHIPA-related requests.
The dental clinic using Dart remains responsible for its patient records, scheduling workflows, and PHIPA obligations. Each clinic is responsible for designating its own privacy contact person and responding to patient requests about access, correction, complaints, and breach-related questions.
Dart helps clinics handle receptionist-style workflows such as inbound calls, appointment booking, rescheduling, callback requests, voicemail capture, reminders, and related admin and QA workflows.
If you are a patient and want to ask about your personal health information, request access, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern, contact the dental clinic directly. The clinic is responsible for identifying its PHIPA contact person and handling those requests. Dart does not currently provide a separate patient self-service portal for those requests.
Please send privacy complaints, access requests, correction requests, and questions about your records to the clinic directly using the clinic's published contact details. The clinic's own privacy notice and contact information control how those requests are handled.
Dart is designed to help clinics operate receptionist workflows under the clinic's direction. This page is a general platform notice only. It does not replace the clinic's own privacy notice or PHIPA contact information, and it should not be treated as a clinic-specific legal notice.
